The Human Anomaly: The Fall of General Lyra
The morning sun beat down on Fort Canterhold, bathing the sentries in insufferable heat. The rest of the fort's occupants were all gathered in a meeting hall, discussing the best plan of attack for their enemies. The main gate was manned by one lone sentry, though occasionally one of the patrolmen would stop and engage in conversation. One this particular day the patrolmen were on high alert, so they couldn't afford to distract themselves with small talk.
The lone gatekeeper rested against the ramparts of the fort, staring out towards the far end of the field, keeping a watchful eye out for the enemy. Suddenly, he caught sight of a figure fa

Applejack and Rainbow Dash were on their way back to Twilight, bringing with them, materials for a campsite. To pass the time Applejack engaged in conversation, although most of the discussion revolved around Twilight’s strange behaviours.
“Ah’m not sayin’ she’s up t’ somethin’, but she sure ain’t tellin’ us somethin’.”
“Relax AJ, we all know what Twilight’s like with keeping secrets. If she was hiding something she would’ve shown signs of it by now.” Replied Rainbow Dash
“Ah know, ah know, but ah jus’ can’t seem t&
Lyra sat backstage waiting for her call to go onstage. It wasn’t her first time performing, but it was certainly her first time she had performed at something like this. She was currently at the Canterlot Theatre for the Musical Arts, where she shared the evening’s bill with some of Equestria’s most famed musicians. Just the thoughts of sharing a stage with musicians like Octavia, made her feel incredibly nervous. What if she didn’t perform to an equal calibre? She didn’t want to think about what would happen should that thought come true. Out on the stage Lyra heard a round of stomping applause, and realise
Today was the day of the annual Ponyville Renaissance fair and everypony was taking part to make sure the event was a success. Some of the ponies had even come to the event dressed in costumes from that era. Two of these ponies were Lyra and Bon-Bon, who had dressed up as a minstrel and a knight respectively. At first Lyra had been reluctant to wear her outfit, and was just ready to parade around with her lyre, but Bon-Bon strong armed her into it. Currently the two were resting after spending practically the whole day walking back and forth around the town. They had originally been resting in a field, but moved to a bench in town so they did

"Are you sure Twilight?" asked Celestia "I only ask because you had me worried when you ran outside without giving any sort of reason."
Twilight nodded.
"I am ready to hear what we need to do Princess. I apologise for running out earlier, I just got a little bit overwhelmed "
Celestia nodded and began to inform Twilight what was needed of her.
"As I've explained to your friends, I need you all to complete the task that I set my guards." Celestia levitated a pair of saddlebags emblazoned with Celestia's and Luna's cutie marks entwined together on the front. These saddlebags were usually reserved for the castle couriers, but Celes

The chariot touched down in Canterlot, more specifically, Celestia's castle grounds. Twilight and her friends disembarked the chariot and thanked the guards, who held their heads high, showing off their pride. Twilight led her friends through the grounds and into the castle itself. There they met with Princess Celestia, who was pleased to see that they had finally arrived.
"Please, this way " spoke Celestia, her tone seeming to be layered with a sense of urgency, which contrasted her normal, slower, calmer way of speaking. The Princess led them through the elegant hallways, where shining marble pillars, and various stone carvings oversa

Twilight Sparkle raced across the stony ground beneath her, her breath coming in short pants. Three months had past since the incident with Volo, and Rainbow Dash had spent each day under medical supervision. After Applejack had collapsed in the Everfree Forest from her fight with Volo, Twilight had carried both ponies to the Ponyville Urgent Response Centre. That had been the last time that Rainbow had seen Applejack, they were split up, and sent to separate wards. Time and time again, Rainbow requested to visit Applejack, but each time she had been given the same response.
No.
Today was going to be different however; today she was going to see her friend after all this time. At this moment she laid in a bed, on a ward which was em
